Project’s context & challenges
Exportslachterij Clazing B.V. is a leading halal poultry processing company located in the Netherlands. As part of its growth strategy and increasing production capacity, the company required an upgrade of its existing wastewater pretreatment installation.
The anticipated production expansion would significantly increase both hydraulic loading and pollution loads within the wastewater stream, characterized by elevated concentrations of fats, suspended solids, COD, and nutrients. At the same time, the new installation needed to be integrated within the existing treatment building and infrastructure, minimizing civil modifications while ensuring reliable long-term performance.
To support future growth ambitions, Clazing required a robust, scalable pretreatment solution capable of delivering consistent treatment efficiency under varying operating conditions.
