Biogas desulphurization is used to prepare biogas to be re-used in boilers, generate electricity or to be injected in gas grids. The process of biogas treatment focuses on the removal of harmful components such as H2S and achieving the correct humidity, pressure, temperature and a stable flow. Examples of biogas treatment process steps that we offer are: buffering, drying, compressing and cooling. In addition to this H2S or other unwanted substances can be removed.

High H2S removal rates

Our biogas desulphurization solutions achieve H2S removal rates of over 99%. In many cases, the biogas is ready for immediate use or requires only minor polishing with activated carbon filters – depending on your requirements.

Low operational costs

Due to the regeneration of washing fluid, little caustic is used compared to traditional scrubbers. This results in a lower OPEX, especially at higher sulfur loads.

Lower your natural gas use or any other energy source

Clean biogas, as a result of biogas desulphurization, can be used to generate electricity, heat or fuel. This allows you to become more self-reliant in regards to energy and lowering your dependence on natural gas or other energy sources.
