Our story

Founded in 2012, Econvert started with a clear purpose: to make the benefits of anaerobic wastewater treatment available to everyone. This goal still drives us today.

We’re driven by a customer-for-life mindset and provide full project support – from design and installation to after-sales services. Our contribution to #MissionWater is to make anaerobic technology available to the widest possible group of users and to help companies meet sustainability goals by lowering their ecological impact. In this way we give water the value it deserves.

Over the years, we’ve grown into a trusted partner for biological wastewater treatment and biogas desulfurization. Our solutions focus on helping industries reuse water locally and lower their environmental impact – because we believe reuse is the future.

We have built a solid track record in key industries like Pulp & Paper, Food & Beverage, Chemical & Pharmaceutical and Waste-to-Energy. Anaerobic wastewater treatment

Anaerobic wastewater treatment is a very effective way of removing biodegradable organic compounds (COD/BOD) from wastewater without the use of oxygen. The degradation of the organic compounds results in the production of biogas, which can be used to generate heat and electricity.
