FlooScreen™ Screening Units

The Travelling Basket Filter is suitable for treating the intake water when it is taken directly from a river, a lake or from the open sea by gravity flow. Particularly recommended when there are large fluctuations in the water level. It uses a series of stainless-steel or PET screening baskets mounted on a continuous chain loop. The filter screen has a mesh size ranging from 0,2mm to 5mm depending on the application.

With flow capacities up to 50,000 m³/h per unit, this filter maintains low head loss and consistent performance. Its vertical configuration and automatic basket cleaning system make it ideal for installations with limited space and high reliability demands.

The Drum Basket Filter is a rotary fine screen engineered for high-efficiency filtration of small particles, able to separate particles down to 20 μm. The built-in spray cleaning system ensures the drum remains clear, allowing for continuous operation with minimal energy consumption. The largest drum basket filters supplied by NSI Flootech have a capacity of 5,000 m³/h.

The Automatic Bar Screen is a rugged, front-line mechanical screen designed to remove coarse solids from large flow streams and to ensure that larger objects do not get into the downstream process. It features a vertical or inclined bar rack and an automatic rake mechanism that lifts debris to a discharge chute. The automatic bar screen operates with programmable cleaning cycles and overload protection, ensuring continuous, unattended operation even under challenging conditions.
