The process

The Econvert Anaerobic Rental reactor uses anaerobic biomass (granular sludge) to convert organic components into biogas, consisting mainly of methane (CH4), carbon dioxide (CO2). At the top of the reactor the separation of water, sludge, and gas takes place. The Econvert Anaerobic Rental reactor is equipped with a recirculation of the effluent, which is mixed with the incoming wastewater (influent) in order to optimize the COD concentration in the reactor. The recirculation is carried out by a standpipe inside the reactor.

The Econvert-EGSB® Anaerobic Rental reactor has the ability to load the system up to 3200 kg COD/day. The Econvert-IR® Anaerobic Rental reactor has the ability to load the system up to 5000 kg COD/day

Turn-key installation with low maintenance

Each rental reactor includes a standardized equipment container with stand-alone controls and a biogas flare. The installation is fast and can be operational within just 3 to 4 months. Once operational, the reactor requires minimal maintenance.

We offer flexible contracts for our Econvert Anaerobic Rental reactors. Whether you need the reactor temporarily during a temporary production spike or during a scheduled maintenance, or whether you are seeking a more long-term solution to treat your wastewater. No substantial capital investments needed

No high CAPEX investments are required in order to rent an Econvert Anaerobic Rental reactor. This allows you to enjoy the benefits of our high-performance anaerobic technology while paying in small increments.

Fast deployment and additional temporary boosts

Econvert Anaerobic Rental reactors are the perfect solution in case of a spike in production, or a temporary loss of treatment capacity due to maintenance on your existing wastewater treatment plant. From order until start-up, the reactor can be operational within 3 to 4 months, whereas it can take years for a full-scale reactor to be built.
